We are excited to recommend Jacqueline of Cascade Dog Training for whatever your training needs might be. We have an 18 month Bernedoodle (Toby) who as a puppy did go through a local puppy class so he was very well socialized with other dogs. However,he could not walk on a leash without significant pulling, did not follow basic commands and in general pretty much did whatever he wanted to do in the moment.

We did a board and train with Jacqueline when he was about 9 months for almost 3 weeks while traveling abroad. I can only tell you that we came home to a different dog than the one we left! He was able to follow several commands including sit, down, stand, stay, come and drop it. Additionally, she trained him to loose leash walk, which made our walks around the neighborhood and trails so much more enjoyable - not the battle they were previously.

I have known Jacqueline for at least 10 years and during that time she has helped me with my horses and dogs. There isn't  anyone I would trust more with my animals!   She has a wonderful rapport with all my animals. She is kind and  sensitive, yet she doesn't let them get away with bad or unsafe habits. I  made the mistake of letting my puppy jump on me when he was little  because he was so dang cute, but when he grew large  and started to do it to other people, I knew it wasn't safe or  desirable. Jacqueline helped correct this behavior with gentle but firm and  consistent training principles.  In addition, Jacqueline has a great  work ethic. She is punctual, reliable and always does more  than I ask. I strongly recommend Jacqueline for any of your training needs.
